Millet, Robert L.

Robert L. Millet is a professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. Former publications director of the Religious Studies Center at BYU, he previously served as dean of Religious Education and chair of the Department of Ancient Scripture. He received BS and MS degrees in psychology from BYU and his PhD in religious studies from Florida State University. He worked with LDS Social Services and Seminaries and Institutes and joined the Religious Education faculty at BYU in 1983. 

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1947, he served in the Eastern States Mission from 1967 to 1969. He and Shauna Sizemore married in 1971 and had six children.
