Jenny Reeder is a nineteenth-century women’s history specialist at the LDS Church History Department. She has a PhD in American history from George Mason University, emphasizing in women’s history, and a master’s degree is from New York University in history, archival management, and documentary editing. She has worked with the Roy Rozenzweig Center for History and New Media at GMU, the Center for American Jewish History, the Gilder Lehrman Collection at the New-York Historical Society, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the New York Universalist-Unitarian church, and the Joseph Fielding Smith Institute for LDS History. She has served on the executive committee of the Mormon Women’s History Initiative Team.
