Elwin Dale LeBaron was a Canadian scholar of the Latter-day Saint movement and a professor of Church history and doctrine at Brigham Young University. He is known for his work on the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Africa, where he also served as mission president during the 1978 revelation on priesthood.
