Randy L. Bott was born and raised in northern Utah. He graduated with a BS in psychology from USU, a master's in secondary education from USU, and a doctorate in educational leadership from BYU. Brother Bott served as a bishop, high councilor, in a stake presidency (twice), and as a mission president. He has authored numerous books and articles. He is married to Vickie Pehrson, and together they are the parents of six children and have eight grandchildren. Brother Bott's areas of expertise include doctrine of the Church, missionary preparation, and application of doctrine to life.
