Lectures on the Deceit of Mormonism, by Thomas Hughes, Rhuthin

The first lecture, on the deceit of the beginning of Mormonism, which was delivered in the Rhuthin Town Hall, September 1852. Isaac Clarke, Printer, Rhuthin.

The lecturer shows that the origin of Mormonism from deceit, that its principles are contrary to the religion of Christ, except for a few things, which are used as bait to attract—that its spirit is bitter, and there is a remarkable coincidence in some things between Mormonism and Catholicism. It is difficult to find a better path to show what Mormonism is than the one which Mr. T. Hughes has taken; and we know of no better way to give fair play to the Welsh to judge for themselves about Mormonism than for them to pay twopence for this lecture and read it.
