
Janet Peterson has served on the Church Correlation Committee (Materials Evaluation) for the past decade. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English from BYU. A freelance writer, she has published over 100 articles in Church magazines, including "Friend to Friend" interviews with General Authorities. She is the author of Remedies for the I Don't Cook Syndrome and Family Dinners: Easy Ways to Feed Your Kids and Get Them Talking at the Table. She coauthored with LaRene Gaunt Faith, Hope, and Charity: Inspiration from the Lives of Relief Society Presidents, Keepers of the Flame: Presidents of the Young Women, and The Children's Friends: Presidents of the Primary and Their Lives of Service. She and her husband, Larry, have six children and fourteen grandchildren.
