Alisse Garner Metge received a bachelor’s degree in conservation biology and molecular biology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in wildlife resources from the University of Idaho. She has spent several years working as a genetics researcher, first in the biotech industry and then in the field of conservation genetics, and is currently pursuing her career of choice: motherhood.
