Eugene Hynes

Eugene Hynes taught sociology in the Humanities and Social Science Division of GMI Engineering and Management Institute, Flint, Michigan. Besides world-systems analyses of religion and family, he has research interests in various aspects of nineteenth-century Ireland, in the work of Melvin Kohn, and in the role of engineers in the labor process. He received his PhD from Southern Illinois University.
