Donald Westbrook received his PhD in American religion from Claremont Graduate University. He earned an MLIS from San Jose State University, MA in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and BA in philosophy from the University of California–Berkeley. He has researched and published in the areas of ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, Coptic history, and new religious movements (NRMs). Dr. Westbrook has taught at San Jose State, UT Austin, UCLA, Cal State Fullerton, Fuller Seminary, and the University of South Florida.
