Donald Westbrook received his PhD in American religion from Claremont Graduate University. He holds an MA in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and BA in philosophy from the University of California–Berkeley. He has researched and published in the areas of ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, Coptic history, and new religious movements (NRMs).
