Jared W. Ludlow is a professor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University. He taught religion and history at BYU–Hawaii for six years. He received his BA from BYU in Near Eastern studies, his MA from UC–Berkeley in Biblical Hebrew, and his PhD in Near Eastern religions from UC–Berkeley and The Graduate Theological Union. His primary research interests are ancient Judaism and early Christianity.
