We, the editors of this book, sincerely hope you have enjoyed the work and have gained an appreciation for the contribution of nurses during wartime situations. The Nurses at War project is an ongoing project. The hope of the editors is to collect the accounts of as many nurses as possible and to have them permanently archived in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Section of the Harold B. Library at Brigham Young University. The project has been expanded to include not only nurses who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but any nurse or physician who has served during a wartime situation. The project would welcome accounts from nurses and physicians who have served during any wartime situation for any country. Accounts may be contributed by the nurse or physician or by family or friends if veterans are unable to make the contribution themselves.
