About the Authors
Carol Wilkinson is an associate professor of teacher education at Brigham Young University and taught for ten years as a religion transfer professor for the Department of Church History and Doctrine. She received her BEd degree from Durham University, England, and MS and EdD degrees from Brigham Young University. She has written several published works including The Restoration of Gadfield Elm Chapel, Mormon Baptismal Site in Chatburn, England, Temple Symbolism of the Body, and Run and Not Be Weary. A native of England, she served in the England Bristol Mission spending eleven months in the Three Counties of England.
Cynthia Doxey Green is a former associate professor of Church history and doctrine at Brigham Young University. Her articles can be found in academic journals and books such as Regional Studies in Church History and Strengthening Our Families: An In-Depth Look at the Proclamation on the Family. Her research and teaching focused on family history and British emigration. Since her marriage to Richard A. Green and subsequent move to North Carolina, she continues doing family history research and speaking at local and national genealogy conferences and societies.
