Amber J. Majeske works as an assistant professor of human development and family studies at Penn State York. She previously worked as a second-year graduate assistant at Eastern Michigan University researching family sociology and volunteers as a research assistant for LDS Family Services. She earned a BS in marriage, family, and human development from Brigham Young University and received a dual PhD from Purdue University in human development and family studies and gerontology. She received academic scholarships and presented at the Religious Education Student Symposium in 1999. Amber served in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission from 1999 to 2001 and has served as a Church-service missionary for the ARP program with LDS family services. She and her husband, Joseph, have two children, Gelisse and Byron, and reside in York, Pennsylvania.
