Benjamin C. Peterson was raised in Layton, Utah. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Montevideo, Uruguay, he completed a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Following a successful career in the investments and banking industry he began working for Seminaries and Institutes as a teacher in the Utah Davis Area where he also developed online mobile learning tools to improve the seminary student experience. Ben holds a master’s degree in religious education from Brigham Young University and is currently working as a member of the Evaluation Division of the Church Correlation Department. Ben and his wife Traci are the parents of five children.
