Wayne A. Larsen was director of Advanced Research Systems, Eyring Research Institute, Inc. and a faculty member in statistics at Brigham Young University when this was written. He completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young, after which he received his PhD at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1967. His long list of publications includes articles on Minuteman II accuracy testing and advanced statistical analysis.
