Brother Largey has taught in the Department of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University since 1985. In addition to teaching religion at BYU, Brother Largey taught seminary in Arizona and, for five years, taught both physical education and religion at BYU–Hawaii.
Brother Largey first came in contact with the Church as a student athlete at BYU-Hawaii. After graduation, he served a mission in Ireland.
He is married to Kristene Lee Belnap Largey, and they are the parents of four children.
