Tona Hangen

Tona Hangen received her BS in Anthropology/Archeology from MIT, and her PhD in History of American Civilization from Brandeis University. Dr. Hangen’s areas of specialization include 19th and 20th century US social and cultural history, religion and popular culture; radio studies; and media history. She is the Assistant Director of the Honors Program, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Dr. Hangen is also on the Scholarly Advisory Council for Worcester's Teaching American History (TAH) grant, "Securing the Blessings of Liberty."
